Happy Songkran. Happy Thai New Year! Also known as Water (fight) Festival, Songkran marks the beginning of the traditional Thai New Year. Thais cleanse and pour water mixed with Thai fragrance on Buddha images. This process is believed to bring them good luck and prosperity. People also pour scented water onto the palms of the elders for forgiveness and blessings for the year ahead.

"Away from the main city centre hub, in the northern sector close to the royal palaces on the banks of the mighty Chao Phraya River, an impressive privately owned boutique hotel is our firm favourite. Unique in style and personality it delivers exceedingly well in service and appointment and for us has become a determining factor in returning to Bangkok." - Nota Bene Global
