May Day is Lei Day in Hawaii! A lei represents a uniquely Hawaiian way to share your aloha for others, an adornment for the day or to honor someone's accomplishments. We’re excited to invite our guests to participate in a number of treasured cultural practices to celebrate this special day, including a lei making session in the lobby this morning from 10-11am.
On this #EarthDay, it’s our kuleana (responsibility) to teach our keiki (children) how to malama ‘aina (care for the land as it cares for you). Mahalo to Uncle Shawn Souza, our beloved landscaper, for leading a lovely tour of our gardens, groves and flow hives today! Swipe 👉🏻 to see more photos of our tour! 🌍 🌳 🌺 🐝 @ Fairmont Orchid, Hawaii
