The Stan features a creamy blend of Bacardi Heritage, Italicus, coconut water and cream while The Ollie is a darkly delicious mix of Royal Brackla 16 whisky, Fernet Branca, absinthe and wood bitters.
One of our favourite stories from when Laurel and Hardy stayed with us, was a moment when the pair dined in Savoy Grill following a press conference. Hardy asked the waiter “Do you have frogs legs?” to which the reply came “Of course, Sir.” “Well jump off and get me a steak will you?” quipped Hardy. Their triumphant farewell tour is explored in the wonderful 'Stan & Ollie' which is in cinemas January 11.

Born 129 years ago today, Charlie Chaplin was a regular guest at The Savoy. During one of his visits, Roland, one of the receptionists, was delighted to be able to meet his hero. After he had spent considerable time showing the family around their suite, Roland went to leave but ended up in the wardrobe. He did not panic and simply waited until it was quiet outside so he could slip out unnoticed. Unfortunately for Roland, the Chaplins had not left the room and were waiting for him to appear.
The new National Gallery exhibition 'The Credit Suisse Exhibition: Monet & Architecture' is the first time that Monet's career is looked at through the buildings he painted. We have partnered with our friends at The National Gallery to offer a unique Monet experience in recognition of the works he created while he stayed with us.
